PepperTag was founded in 2010, having previously operated as the publishing division of TRXN Inc. Since 1999, we have been designing, developing, and operating sophisticated transactional applications for a diverse group of international enterprises. We specialize in technologies and services that enable transactional and meta-data management primarily for the purpose of digital rights management, royalty distribution and financial/project management. Our custom frameworks and technologies coupled with off-the-shelf solutions where possible enable the SaaS applications that we have designed, developed, and operated on behalf of our clients. PepperTag systems are deployed using Oracle technologies and are made accessible to our users in the AWS cloud using a Java (J2EE) architecture.
Ian Assing
President
Ian Assing brings more than 20 years of software development and consulting experience to his role as President of PepperTag. He has led numerous system development efforts for clients such as Canadian Scholarship Trust, Moody's Investors Service, Southam Publishing, Bell GlobeMedia, Sears, UPS, and Microsoft. Prior to joining PepperTag, Ian was the EVP of TRXN Inc. (2000-2010) and a Senior Manager in Arthur Andersen's Business Consulting practice (1993-1999). Mr. Assing has an MBA from The Schulich School of Business at York University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto.
Eric Schein
VP Technology
Eric Schein has been working with PepperTag since 2009 and is a gifted developer in ORACLE and J2EE solutions. He has a strong XML foundation and has built and supported many complex aspects in PepperTag's WISE and DesignDocs systems. Mr. Schein holds a joint business and computer science degree from Laurier University in Canada.
Ronaldo Bayaton
VP Support
Ronaldo Bayaton brings more than 10 years of training and support to his role as manager of Support Services for PepperTag. Ronaldo was previously the support manager with TRXN Inc., providing on-site training seminars, on-line technical documentation and help-desk infrastructure required to support thousands of SalesTree users. Mr. Bayaton has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto.
Jonathan Dee
Technology Consultant
Jonathan Dee brings over 15 years of software development and technology experience to the PepperTag Team. As a co-founder, Mr. Dee was and is the driving force behind our leading edge Oracle and Java (J2EE) systems architecture. Prior to working at PepperTag and TRXN Inc., Mr. Dee was a Technology Manager in Arthur Andersen's Business Consulting practice. Mr. Dee has a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen's University in Ontario, Canada.
